About

Ali (Alex) Ghadbane who left us after a spirited fight with cancer. Ali was a dedicated religious man who worked within the Ottawa community for the betterment of all. He gave, but never asked for recognition. Ali never missed a charitable event.
He also loved the game of golf, he was challenged by it and became fairly accomplished. He became a member at various clubs, the last one was at Camelot in Cumberland. He was a gracious host for family and friends he brought to the course. Ali is best remembered for being a strong family man, an avid golfer and charitable person. He left us too early with a few unfinished projects.

This years tournament will also be in the memory of Staff Sergeant Kal Ghadban. He was a big part of the committee that organizes this golf tournament and we lost him in 2014 to an unforeseen situation.
Kal had many passions in his life, his family, his friends and helping out in the community. He was 22-year veteran of the Ottawa Police Services where he had a strong passion for policing and had a positive impact on our community.

Proceeds raised from this years tournament will be donated to The Ottawa Hospital Foundation, to various OMA projects, YouthNet, The Ottawa Boys and Girls Club, and Camp Misquah. The funds raised will be spent locally to support these charities, and we are hopeful that your tournament sponsorship will greatly increase the money directed towards both of these well deserving causes.
